Purpose of this project
- To get SharePoint 2007 to validate according to W3C XHTML 1.0 Strict.
- Google-optimize SharePoint to gain the best search ranking.
- Enhanced accessibility.
- Makes it possible for SharePoint to follow the American regulation 508 and the Danish regulation based on WCAG AA.
- Better control over the HTML output of SharePoint, to ease the frontend development process.
Installation
- Install the wsp package.
- Activate the feature "GetSharePointToValidate": Modify the Compact Browser file.
- Activate the feature "GetSharePointToValidate": Modify the “web.config” file (optional).
Microsoft Visual Studio structur
The deployment of this project is based on “WSPBuilder” and this project is structured following the “WSPBuilder” guidelines regarding Visual Studio Projects.
Known issues in release 0.09.08.1352
- "DeploymentJobs" is not testes with multiple frontend servers.
- Use of external link is not fully implemented.
